6. LICENSE CATEGORIES

The members license status is represented by four categories, Bricklayers, Brokers, Developers, and Board Members. The status is determined by the number of $BRICKS each member decides to CEMENT in the Brickworks Staking Contract.

• Bricklayer licenses require a minimum cement of 100 $BRICKS

• Broker licenses require a minimum cement of 5,000 $BRICKS

• Developer licenses require a minimum cement of 50,000 $BRICKS

• Board Member licenses require a minimum cement of 250,000 $BRICKS

Bricklayer License:

This is the lowest entry level for licensed membership and activated by staking a minimum of 100 $BRICKS. This license permits the holder to cement in Brickworks Staking Contract and qualify for quarterly dividend distributions. The Bricklayer license holder also has the option to upgrade to Broker status once their $BRICKS allocation collectively exceeds 5,000.

Broker License:

Broker licenses are activated by staking a minimum of 5000 $BRICKS. Aimed at real estate professionals and enthusiasts that want to actively work in the Bricklayer real estate gig-economy.

The license permits participation in the ‘Introduction Program’ whereby the members are licensed to propose the purchase of new real estate acquisitions and introduce partner occupiers in return for acquisition fees.

The license represents a client contract between BCRE and the member, outlining the acquisition fee structures. Any successful acquisition of the introduced opportunities would remunerate the member with the standard industry fee payable to the licensed member or their employer together with an attractive $BRICKS incentive bonus.

The licensed members are expected to work alongside the BCRE team throughout the entire acquisition and development process. If the licensed member is representing the owner of the introduced opportunity, then BCRE has the option to instruct an alternative licensed member to resolve the conflict of interest.

In addition, the Broker license provides access to future Bricklayer Listing Portal services.

The Broker license holder also has the option to upgrade to Developer status once their $BRICKS allocation collectively exceeds 50,000.

Developer License:

This is the middle-tier membership and will benefit from all Bricklayer & Broker license utilities and is activated with a minimum cement of 50,000 $BRICKS. Developer license members will receive a free invitation to attend and exhibit at the annual Bricklayer Convention, AP Elections and Broker Awards.

Bricklayer encourages all preferred stakeholders (fee developers, architects, general contractors, etc.) to obtain Developer license status to tender for professional services, such as asset management and valuation services, fee development and contractor refurbishment work on behalf of Bricklayer assets and projects.

The Developer license holders also have the option to upgrade to Board Member status once their $BRICKS allocation collectively exceeds 250,000.

Board Member License:

Board Member licenses are the highest-ranking position in the DAO and will be activated with a minimum cement of 250,000 $BRICKS.

Board Member licenses will benefit from all Bricklayer, Broker and Developer utilities, however, will be entitled to an exclusive communication line into BCRE and only members with this status can apply for future AP vacancies and tender for brokering real estate asset disposals.
